Species Surveys
Plan for Ecology Ltd undertake a wide range of species surveys, including bat surveys, dormouse surveys, otter surveys, great crested newt surveys (European Protected Species), badger surveys, reptile surveys, bird surveys, invertebrate surveys, UK BAP Priority Species surveys and invasive plant surveys. These help to inform planning applications and conservation management plans.
Habitat Surveys

Where possible Plan for Ecology incorporate detailed badger and invasive plant surveys to minimise cost.
Biodiversity Net Gain
Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) is an approach to development, and land management, that aims to leave the natural environment in a measurably better state than it was beforehand. Plan for Ecology Ltd’s ecologists are experienced Biodiversity Net Gain consultants who work closely with landowners to maximise the biodiversity value of development sites.
