Senior Ecologist
Katherine joined Plan For Ecology Ltd in 2020. She graduated with an Honours Degree in Conservation Biology and Ecology and a Master’s Degree in Applied Ecology from the University of Exeter and she is an Associate Member of CIEEM. Katherine has 8 years’ experience working as a consultant ecologist and oversees a number of projects and ecological surveys, including undertaking extended Phase 1 habitat surveys, Protected Species surveys, ecological appraisals and preliminary bat and bird assessments. Katherine holds a Natural England Class Licence for bats (level 2) and a barn owl licence.
In her spare time, Katherine can be found playing her accordion and Morris dancing at festivals all over the South West and beyond. She also loves gardening and spending time with her two tortoiseshell cats.
